As of a few weeks ago with new firmware, all Flanders Scientific monitors have C-Log and S-Log preview monitoring modes. This is something that Canon should make available on the HD-SDI output via firmware update, similar to what they provide with the on-board 4" LCD in "View Assist" mode.
The FSI monitors offer a "Standard" and "Full" mode. I found the latter to be close enough to what I see on the on-board Canon LCD. "Standard" clipped highlights and crushed blacks too much. This new FSI firmware is very useful for on-set monitoring for directors and clients when shooting in C-Log gamma.
