I figured out a way to fix that annoying clunk in my DVX

Do not try this at home!! Professional fix only

That's just about the smartest mod I've seen for the DVX. You need to start selling it for way too much money. Then 3 people need to post their own configurations in the DIY section, and then 5,000 people need to ask if they will be selling them, and for how much.
 
I heard that after you get the "clunk" fixed, you can't output through the firewire...:shocked:

And what's the ****ing deal with all that noise anyway?

Of course, nylon washers, why didn't I think of that...:Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)...but it still doesn't address the noise issue...

This seems shady, he didn't even post any footage or anything. DON'T GIVE THIS GUY ANY MONEY UNTIL WE KNOW HE'S LEGIT!
 
don't worry guys...I've worked with him and he's totally legit...give him all your money...Kdawg...my cut is at least 30% remember?

Well, I wish I had a place to host some footage I would show you all a DIY. But to keep my sales up I will not tell you where I purchaced a high quality, non-noise causing, un-vignetting, ultra diffused, titanium, clunk reduction bolt.

The footage is awsome... just some fixing in post, and your good to go.

Very clever. :)

I hear a lot of feature films, which used this DVX mod, had to remove the bolt in post as well. Someone else figured out that if you use a magnet in the right spot the bolt isn't in the frame while shooting.
 
Wait, does this fix work for the HVX also? Somebody better tell Barry so he can include it in his book before it goes to press!

Finally, some truly innovative thinkers come around and solve our problems :thumbsup:
