Samyang is coming out with an 8mm fisheye for 4/3rds, I assume it'll be a manual lens only.

My understanding is that you shouldn't adapt a fisheye lens made for a 35mm sensor, because the cropping will crop out a lot of the desired effect. For instance a 12mm fisheye for 35mm will be 24mm equiv on 4/3 and will crop out the most extremely distorted parts of the image circle.

You will need an adapter for both these and both would be MF only. With the Olympus you would retain electronic control of aperture.

Any guess when the panasonic 8mm will be released and price. We talking late spring or fall?

Can't wait for the 14mm also to be released.
 
Also I have an HV20 and the opteka 43mm 0.3X fisheye looks pretty damn good for $100.

What the heck is 43mm 0.3x fisheye compared to 8mm fisheye 4/3rds lens.

[edit] Never mind I think I got it. The HV20 has a 6.1mm to 61mm lens so with the 0.3x it would be 1.83mm to 18.3mm
