Fisheye converter on 28mm FD or Stock lens.

Hi,

I have 2 questions here...

I want to create Door-Viewfinder look in my shortfilm.
1) Since the Fisheye lenses are out of my Budget, can I use Fisheye converter lens on any of my lenses?
How would it work? If someone using it, please I want to see how it looks. :undecided

2) My friend's friend have Canon FL 50mm 1.4 in my budget. What difference will it make against my current FD 50mm 1.8 lens?
Is older FL glass good or bad for film look?
