Firware install help!

Trying to install the 1.1 firmware and am getting nowhere. Here is what I am doing, maybe someone can tel me what im doing wrong!

1. Format card in camera
2. attach camera to macbook pro
3. Download firware from http://panasonic.jp/support/global/cs/dsc/download/fts/index.html
4. Drag .bin file onto sd card
5. eject camera and turn off
6. turn on camera
7. push "play" on camera and wait for "version up" screen as seen on http://panasonic.jp/support/global/cs/dsc/download/fts/step_bg.html

All my camera says is "no displayable pcitures" so obviously not identifying the firmware!!! I've seen that people on here have installed correctly, please tell me how to do it!

Oh my gosh....... i see it now... for anyone out there that needs help..... i tranfered the .bin file onto the sd card, but failed to double click it to bring up the .cpgz file

So what i did was transfer the .bin file onto sd card. Once on the sd card, I double clicked the .bin file on the card to get the .cpgz file. I then ejected the camera, turned it off and on, then pushed play... and voila! Version up screen appeared

No problem, glad I could help indirectly. Didn't have access to the camera when I posted first reply and I never remember all the details of stuff like this in my head.
