First wedding trailer with the HMC150

Thanks Guys, I should add that it was edited with PPro CS4 natively with a touch of colour correction where needed and a couple of Magic Bullet filters for the B&W clip and the focus effort when they are in the car.

When I first reviewed the footage on my PC I was concerned it was too contrasty but was well-chuffed when I saw it rendered out. It will be delivered as SD DVD but still looks good on the down-convert

Great shots! Everything is really clear and captured the day well.
I want to know about the limo shot. Their faces look bright and clear. How did you have that lit? Or was it just ambient lighting?

Thanks modus, the shot inside the car was lit just with my 30w on-camera PAGC6. I may well have bumped the levels abit in post. Incidently the focus effect was a Magic Bullet tool.

I agree about the song, couple chose it, they are Brazilian and not sure if they speak English so maybe they just liked the tune!

How did you secure music licensing for the music?

Did you go through Harry Fox, or the artist?

In fact, how are all the event wedding people securing rights?

We tried in a couple of weddings, but the licensing was impossible to secure.

So to be legal, we used decent buyout/royalty free music beds.

I haven't done anything for pay yet (only shot 2 weddings), but when it comes that time, either I'll get royalty free, or write my own. The 1st wedding shoot I did (shoot used loosely), i used one of my acoustic instrumentals.
