I obviously did something wrong because when I try to view it, there is a problem with interlacing and all that. Any tips?

What frame rate is it and what program do you use to edit? It gets weird 75% through and the video size gets smaller then goes back to normal. Ignoring the lines and stuff it still looks pretty nice. I like the snow shot at the end the most

It was shot in 24pa and squeeze for the most part and edited in Adobe Premiere Pro. I dunno, i think i made a mistake by eidting on an interlaced timeline or something. Ill see what happens the next time i make a vid., and I totally forgot that I had switched my camera to letterbox for that part near the end. My bad lol. Ya the snow at the end is my favourite too.

And Robbie, the song is called "Beautiful" by Andy Hunter. I recommend any/all of his music.

The footage was shot in 24PA mode, but the pulldown was not properly removed. You're getting one interlaced, duplicate frame every 5 frames.

I don't know premiere, so I don't know what to tell you, but look around the premiere section of the forums to see how to properly remove pulldown during capture.

Good luck

Its gonna take me ages to download this size file even at my broadband speed of 12mbps, I only get around 180kbps of the filefront server.
I was under the impression that shooting 24pa only had advantages if your were going to blow up for 35mm. Just Shoot 24p standard and in your QT settings there's a setting for de-interlace, although you shouldn't need check this box anyway if you shoot progressive.
I'll download this clip at a later date.

like i said. My first time. Trust me, in premiere the video (in my opinion) is amazing. And ya....i thought pulldown might have something to do with it but i have no idea how to do that in premiere...maybe its time to pirat...buy....CS3. And I do appologize for the ENORMOUS size, but unless anyone can tell me how to export it, without losing quality (i know the quality still isnt the greatest) then this is what im going to have to post.

But I will defintely take the advice and shoot 24p from now on....

anyone know how to disable pulldown in Adobe Premiere pro?
Anyone know what good export settings for premiere pro would be?
