first video assignment in film school

very nicely shot man.

i wish we would focus on video as well in my film school. concidering where the business is moving.
 
Great video. Was this shot with the DVX100B. Doesn't look like you had an adaptor on it. Where do you go to film school? That would be my dream to go...just wish I could hit the lotto and make films full time.

im in mel hoppenheim school of cinema at concordia university in montreal. Im starting to realize im hating it.

I understand the idea behind teaching students the old conventions of film making, but i have no interest in it ( magnetic tape sound recorders, Nagra, etc...) Also wish they would focus a bit on digital cinema, as the industry is moving towards it.....

hmmm what to do.
 
ya man i love film but i keep hearing digital will take over in a few years. crazy stuff.

Good looking stuff. I liked the concept too. There was a little bit of black rounded edges from what looked like a wide angle adapter in a couple of the shots, not sure if you did that on purpose. I like how it was done with only music (great way to not worry about capturing audio). Good work man, keep it up.

ya the black rings were from the telephoto lens. I didnt think they were showing but next time ill be alot more carefull with those.
