First Timelapse

That was really good, although it seems that your settings changed quite a lot.. What mode did you use?

Auto is actually a good beginner test with time lapse. You had fair amount of flicker but not a huge amount, when you aren't planning on shooting thru any major changes in light (sunset, sunrise, etc) you should shoot in Manual though, that is the most surefire way to eliminate flickering exposure in time lapse.

What do i set to manual and how?

Here is one I did with a Go Pro Hero HD;

I've done quite a few time lapse with my Nikon over the years, and as someone already pointed out, except for sunrise/sunset, just use manual everything-take a test shot or three, until you get the exposure/focusing/competition where you want it, then set it and forget it.

Do a search on You Tube for Time Lapsed Photography. There are a ton on there, and quite a few excellent tutorials.

I just did mine with the Go Pro HD as a test. It wasn't meant to be all that artistic, or even great. Just showed what you could do with one.
Edited with Sony Vegas Pro 9 and added some effect-pretty basic stuff, nothing fancy, as I'm still not a "video" guy.
