Excited about the GH2, there are plenty of things to learn though. I want to get an idea of Gh2's capabilities before hacking it to properly appreciate the increase in quality.

I agree with you that good video is not so much about the technical specs of equipment as it is about how knowledgeable and experienced the person who is using it. However there is this huge excitement about being able to take this relatively cheap photo camera and squeeze out footage that can be compared to very expensive film cameras. That is the whole selling point of DSLR video. Also - just the fact that people who know their stuff are using GH2 (like this guy, or this guy for example) and that makes me even happier to own it :)
 
Yes nice and interesting,like the first film the 1.1 update giving me pal 25P is the best benefit and like the seconds early words i cant afford the risks seconded by my aging eyes struggling to see the benefits of hacks unlike like the HBR over 50i which i had to use previously.
