Hey there.

I'm not sure if I posted it in the correct spot, but I'm looking for feedback on my first short shot with the DVX100b.

The film is called "Do-It-Yourself Embalming", and the link to the video is http://films.thelot.com/films/36542

My apologies if this is not the right place. I guess I'm just anxious to get some artistic and technical feedback.

Thanks a million.

Peter

I cant even describe how morbidly funny that was.

i didnt want to laugh outloud becuase of the solemn serious tone but then
The siphon scene put it OVER the top for me
that was wrong and funny at the same time the awkwardness was so unreal.

great work !

Wow! The timing was perfect. The acting was very good. I didn't even pay attention to anything technical because I was having so much fun watching it. I'll have to look at it again to see if I can come up with any suggestions.

Bravo!

Great job, Peter. Actors did a great job. Book cover was a nice touch. Dialog was very funny. Sound was clean. Might have been my monitor but one scene looked a little underlit , maybe that was what you wanted. You did that in 24 hrs? Very nice.

Thanks everyone. Your comments are really inspiring.

We've submitted the film in the Toronto International Film Festival - keep your fingers crossed for us!

If anyone else has feedback, we'd love to hear it.

Take care,

Peter
