First person Lens, which wide angle lens would work?

I recall reading a conversation on this board that the crop factor doesn't apply to video(when going for a filmic look), just stills, because the sensor size on the 7d/t2i is similar to that of 35mm film. So when discussing lenses for video does the crop factor really make a difference? Lenses around 30mm are still considered "wide," not "normal" for film work.
 
Not to thread jack, but, WHERE? I have been looking for the Tokina 11-16, but all the places I trust to buy from are sold out...
