Hi everyone...I've been on the DSLR scene since early summer and finally have something to show for all the work I've done in the past 4 months. I had the privilege of being able to shoot a Keller Williams live show in august at Dewey Beach, DE. I picked my favorite song and synced up the audio from my zoom, cut the footage with some of my favorite shots and voila...I have a music video! Enjoy it, and let me know what you think! Critical criticism is welcome, i know it's not perfect :2vrolijk_08:

Honestly, I don't like it very much, but I'm having a hard time putting my finger on what I think is wrong with it. It's just kind of odd to begin with that you're doing a music video for a song from a concert that you only have one uninteresting angle for. While most of the B-roll was well shot and I loved the effects of the clouds speeding up (Although I would have made them quite a bit faster) and the carnival ride transitioning into the stage, it all felt a bit pointless and slapped together, but I really get the feeling that that was mostly caused by the one bad angle at the concert. I also don't really like how you switched back and forth between the neon and earth tone color paletes, that works if you're actually trying to use it for an effect, but I didnt really get that impression.

Yep you are right, it was all slapped together and completely unplanned...it was just some fun to allow me to get some practice with premiere cs5 and after effects. Thanks for the reply man, I appreciate it!
