first music video, Dvx/Sgpro

That video was really really good. Unfortunately I can't say the same for the band but that doesn't really matter since they are probably happier than I am with their video. Your shot selection was really good, I liked the one shot early on of the kid with a buzz cut playing guitar on a deck, that one stood out a lot. The intro to the video also looked real nice. I am very excited to order my sgpro soon, hopefully I can shoot something as nice as this.
Good job Connor

Yeah gotta agree with the comment above, the band is pretty bad. The drummer couldn't keep a beat and the singer went off tune. But you can't control any of that so, for the video itself I would say you did an awesome job. Looked very professional!

Thanks! yeah the main purpose was to make a music video so that I could show other bands and hopefully get more work.

This was really great connor! Loved the high contrast feel of some of the shots.
Great camerawork and editing!

You should do this more often!

You got a nice style going here, the grain and contrast is definately working :)
Good job!

You will get More work, that was a great video.
Good job I like it.
The Money should becoming in soon $$$
Can I ask how much would you charge for a video like that ?
I know a recording artist in Washington.

I don't really know yet. Probably somewhere between $500 and $1000 depending on the complexity of the video.

What are other people on here charging for music videos?

Nice job Connor I like the style you gave it but not a fan of the music. I did like the vocals not the lyrics but the vocals :).

First off the band not completely bad, they just need a little more experience. The singers voice is missing that pitch. I give anyone props for trying to be a singer, it's not an easy job.

The jump in the beginning isn't in time with the music, makes it look a little funny. The swing with the mic is, well I'd probably leave that out. :) The mix isn't very good, seems to come in and out.

However this being your first MV, I'd like to say very nice job and keep pushing for it.
