First job with the HPX170 - need help-format choice

I'm hired to shoot an outdoor ceremonial laying of a wreath on a memorial. There will be speeches at a podium. The final will go to dvd. I'm anxious to see some HD footage with this new camera shooting 720 and 24p., but if it's going to dvd would you just shoot it DVCPRO50, 480i, 30p? 16x9 and cropped sides?

Question 2: what is the difference between 24p and 24pn?

I would suggest getting Barry Green's book on the HVX which will help answer those questions and many more. I'm also a beginner (with the HVX) and I found it extremely helpful.

I have the book. It was more of an opinion question. But found what i needed on a google search.
