First Grabs for First Short !!!

Making my first new Short !! here is some grabs and a trailer ...

As usual, first timer, you have problems with moving actors, then lighting , then forgot to put the mic cap on, so no voice for the first 2 hours of shooting, then after that u notice too much shadows, and then boompole on shot, sigh

however, i guess thas the only way to learn.

tell me what you think guys, i need to know if there is anyway i can make this look better

music is a little loud as i have no idea what the actors were saying. looks good except for the part with the black guy (second grab) the blacks look a little green. other than that I like it.
 
yeah the shadows, i tried hitting lights on them to make them go, but for some reason they stayed lol

i thought i can try to make them go or less while editing, but it darkend the whole thing.

any ideas ?

yeah, however i also had back lights hitting direct at the shadows,

lights from the side,


but no lights from above, cause i wanted the shots to be dark.

like, i didn't want he whole room to be lit.

so iam kinda tryin to figure out what is the best way to light this, but to keep it low light, with no shadows
 
by lighting above, i don't mean like recessed house lighting, you just bring your lights up, and aim them down on the subjects, and shape it with barndoors, flags, ect. to light what you want.
 
oh well, i suck in lighting, ill try to research more and work on it,

before shooting this i had in mind to make only the actors in light and behind them dark , turned out something totaly different when i was on set i just did that lighting.
