Cool! Congrats on the Gh3.
Hi Kevin, I shot 50Mbps, 1080 60p, non a-intra. I tried the slow motion right in FCP, maybe that's it? Not sure. The slow motion of the band playing is at 10%, could this be just too extreme to get smooth slow motion in FCP? I am not that experienced with it. Also, I uploaded the video to Vimeo straight out of FCP as well.
In FCPX you can conform to 24p. If you're using FCP7 you have to conform to 24p in cinema tools. Conforming 60p to 24p will give you smooth 2.5x slomo.
Just drop a regular 24p clip in then start adding the 60p material. Remove your 24p reference clip. On all the 60p stuff though you must click "conform" for fluid slo-mo.I am using FCPX. To conform to 24p, doesn't the first clip you put in the timeline have to by shot in 24p so you are editing in 24p and then you can conform a 60p clip to the 24p timeline? If i shot everything in 60p, how can i conform to 24p? (Or am i getting this all wrong?) Thanks.
Where is the MARKET? Looks like a great place to hang out.
I vote for the elderly lady in Pink! Should sign her for later national TV ads.....
Thanks for sharing...enjoy your GH3
