First footage from my DVX!

I got my DVX100a just a few days ago, and decided to shoot some footage of downtown nashville. I used some filters in AE to give it an old film look.. Anyway, here is the footage:

I'm still messing around with the camera settings, capture settings etc. - so any advice or feedback would be great.
 
Rethink your composition, that bridge doesn't slate at an angle......
Work on that before you play with your settings, effects etc.......
 
yea, I know what you are saying - I just wanted to get some test footage with the camera.. I wasn't really thinking about a finished piece when I started filming.
 
I agree with the angle problem, but it's still good looking first footage from your dvx. Congrats on getting a dvx, and congrats on getting some pretty night-light shots! :thumbsup:

maybe cut down the audio from the cars in the background in the end
i know it wasnt really planned but a tripod would be pretty nice as well
