First film with indie slider

My first real attempt at using my new indie slider in the field from the zsa zsa thread. I have a 24" version that I can stuff into a backpack. I also completely deleted all the native audio and replaced with Foley audio in post. I guess it's not technically Foley, but I don't know what else to call it. Anyway. a few minor glitches with the slider, but overall I'm happy with it. Shot primarily with the 20mm 1.7.

Purdiful indeed!
Is it true that this program can be used in standalone mode as well, as far as you know?

Unfortunately I'm stuck with iMovie as for some reason FCE doesn't work on my machine...

Not sure if it's standalone or not... try the red giant software site.

On another note, I was totally oblivious to this but I just found out that the Bar and Grill (Chata Ortega's Bar & Grill) in my opening clip was from the movie Fandango, starring Kevin Costner. Also, the old school house was used as part of the set.

The "Groovers '71" graffiti is a reference to the group of characters in the movie - Kevin Costner, Judd Nelson, Sam Robards, etc.. Five college buddies on a final road trip odyssey.

Man, the things you discover when out and about... I wish I would've known this while filming.

There is a detailed write up here:

gh1 was hacked?

Thanks Homunculus, not hacked yet... this was shot in 720/60fps. I'm still holding off on the hack for now, but watching and reading closely.
