Wooohoo!

Looks like I´m the first one, that takes the FS100 to the silver screen - so exciting.

Just got hired as DP, to shoot an indie feature.
Can´t say too much in the moment, but I got some meetings and
location scouting next week. I keep your guys posted.

Did I mention that I´m excited as hell.

Congrats! You should keep a blog of the shoot!

I'm hoping to hear whether or not I got a feature shooting gig very soon. We may go forward with the FS-100 as well after testing.

Frank .. I'm happy .. but not surprised! .. as you definitely deserve it !! :)

Super Frank! Die Produzenten haben eine vorragende Wahl getroffen was sich sicherlich auf der Leinwand wiederspiegeln wird.

Way to go Frank! I am sure it is going to look amazing.... Move over Deakins and Lubezki... There's a new Sheriff in Town!!!

I just got done shooting a low budget indie movie with the FS100 that we started shooting last August. I doubt that it will get to the silver screen though.
I'm not doing the editing, but I'll try to post a link to the trailer when it is done.

Wow - thanks for the warm words guys.

David, that´s about the nicest thing, someone ever said to me - especially cause Deakins and Lubezki are some of my favorite DPs

Well done Frank. I hope you keep a blog or some production notes. I have a feature later this year, which is why i'm spending the next month or so ripping the camera apart (figuratively speaking) to get the best from it. Your information and here in general has been very useful getting a head start on all this.

cheers

Deakins and Lubezki are two of my favorite DPs also Frank. I have to say that when I saw the look of the shots you posted from that World War II docu-drama you shot I was blown away. They were outstanding. I am excited to see what you can do with the FS100 (Or any camera for that matter) on a feature.

I want to thank you for your sharing of your information on the FS100 picture profiles also. You have really helped a lot of folks, myself included, get to a much better understanding of the camera and what is can do much faster. Thanks again.

I shot a feature film with my FS100 kit last year. It's currently in post production and looking great. You can see the screenshot gallery on my website at http://adamjrichman.com under "Blood Type: Unknown". Wonderful experience. Good luck and congratulations!

Adam, some lovely imagery there.

Perhaps you could take a few minutes and tell us what kind of issues you encountered in the field, any recommendations? Things to avoid? Whether you stuck to a single PP or adjusted from scene to scene. It would be very useful to hear from someone who has been through this already

cheers
Paul
