First Day Footage

This is my first day of shooting with my new DVX100B. I wanted to get used to using it after reading through the whole user's manual. I drove around San Diego and shot some of the city, then I went to the Zoo and shot some animals. I had some music written from scratch on reason that I had written for a future short, so I put it behind the clips. Let me know!

Good job! Editing could be tightened up a tad, some of the shots seemed a little skewed... Overal verynice!

Thanks. I was mainly trying to get color and exposure right. The editing was an afterthought.

By the way, how do you like your 501HDV?

Love it. Could be a bit better, maybe more precise controls but for the price its awesome. Do make sure and get good legs with it tho, thats where alot of people skimp; they get good heads but they neglect the importance of quality stable legs.

I've been into still photography for about eight years, and I've got a really nice tripod from that. It's actually in the new Bogen/Manfrotto pro video support catalog. I can just take the photo head off and screw on a 501, or buy a bowl, etc.
