First and possibly Last wedding lol

Great video. yeah, the colors were nice and I liked the music
(actually like all your music choices, bc they are very dramatic:))

Hey Darren, well, my last wedding I think I ended up with 6 or 7 hours of footy.
so shaun, when you shoot that much footage, do you shoot in LP to save tapes?

Looks badass, and the lack of dissolves is sick. Real editors don't need dissolves, and that's why porn has so many.
what's "dissolves"?
would like to know because.......:cheesy:

I never shoot LP, dropouts and mising frames wil occur. It costs me $50 for a 10 pack of PQ tape so I'm not fussed about using lots of tape, its cheap.

Yeah, I can't imagine EVER shooting LP!
Especially for paid projects where your competition is HD.

Tape is cheap, good images are priceless!

I love collecting all this footage. I've tons of tapes too in a box,,, I have all my work stuff and family and fun stuff separate,,, every now and then when the kids get bored I dig out some old footage of trips and stuff and the kids have a great old laugh!

Jambredz...I've watched your youtube video and it is very nice...I very much like the change of focus from one object to the other and that's one thing I have been wanting to try :)
There is another where you zoom out while walking into the person...giving a horror movie effect where the background get's larger/smaller...but i'll keep that to movies :)

thanks for the comments Phillip. For the change of focus thing (rack focus) make sure u have that iris all the way open, or at least nearly all the way open (use ND filter and/or shutter speed to cut light intensity). And zoom in. This will give u a shallower depthof field and then u can shift ur focus from object to object.

cheers...oh i think shaun's video link with those settings is dead. mite have to ask him to give u a link.

Thanks Jambred :) I tried out the focus thing yesterday before reading your post...but yep I'll have to do the ND filter thing...I always forget which way to do the iris :)
