This is nothing interesting really, just some quick backyard testing with a 7D and a Indislider mini, but there is always interest in any old footage from a newish camera, right?

I'm very happy with the camera, it's performing way over expectations coming from a EX1.

awesome!
it made me want to get a slider.
I can see the slider in one of the grass shots!

nice color grading too.

haha, that's actually a discarded juicebox laying in the grass...good eye though

lol, sorry, my bad.
What lens are you using in those shots?

cheers.

all shot on a 24mm sigma f/1.8...had it dialed to 2.8 in most of the shots though. All on iso100 which is just insanely clean...as clean or cleaner than my EX1 was at -3db gain.

All in all I'm very impressed with the camera, it's plenty sharp for me but my style DOES play to it's strengths as I usually love shooting low DOF, even in medium shots and the 7D really shines in those conditions.

I used a Neutral color profiled and dialed everything down to almost zero except sharpness which i kept at 3. I had no complaints over the dynamic range in my situation but the lighting was pretty favorable (overcast).

because of your footage i just bought the sigma lens!
