give the notion of cel phone cinema a real start

wonder when the red phone will be out --- what would the call it, the r-Phone maybe ???

[Postmaster]

Yeah probably with a full size chip for $1200

But you know, it will take an other $5000 to have a working RedPhone.

That is crazy. I am curios about how it would look myself.

Next, they need to come up with a pro way to record micro-audio

[BrownDogg]

it won't be better than one of the 720p flip type cameras

Sound shouldn't be a problem for a mobile phone. After all, their primary job is to transmit sound. I suspect you'll be able to plug in a normal mic through the headphone/mic jack and off you go.

Gsmarena posted 2 sample videos on Youtube which can be viewed here:

To be honest, I'm quite amazed about the videoquality this phone produces.

Awesome. CAn't wait to get this thing!

Whoa. I expected it to be crud quality, but that is pretty good.

This has got to be kinda embarrassing for Canon. Their $2500+ 5D mkII can't do 24P, yet a freaking phone can.
