My main reason for wanting the center punch is so I can use legacy zooms.
And Sony pushing the update further back is disappointing but I think I'd rather wait for Sony to get it right and not get egg in their face with releasing an upgrade that is flawed.
Not many of us bought the FS7 for features that will be available with this upgrade. Some of the fixes would be nice but if the update didn't happen, I'd still be happy with my decision to go with the FS7.
But what do I know? I'm only a cameraman who's been telling visual stories for 40 years.
I was happy with non reflex film cameras!
Problem is missing deadlines and lack of info. Besides that most of the FS7 shooters/owners would much rather have 2 or 3 updates fixing bugs during that time that one big bringing new features.

The biggest issue for me is that Sony have never addressed some of the bugs with this camera and we've to wait for 5months for this firmware, 3months for the last one, and each time known stuff wasn't fixed. It just feels like Sony doing a Charlie Sheen and laughing going 'I already got your money dude' to us hecklers at their live show.
EDIT: Thinking of selling up to be honest.
