Firewire Broken, How $$ for fix?

I have a XH A1 and the small black pin divider in the firewire connection broke out and now i can not use my firewire to transfer to NLE.

Now i still have 2 shows i have to film, one is just later this week and the other is on the 20th of June. So i can't send it to canon right yet to get an estimate from them.

My question is, dose anyone know what this would cost me to get the firewire board replaced by canon. That way i'd at least have that funding set aside.

Yes, I do because that exact thing happened to me last year. It's about $260 to fix. The dumb thing is that the firewire board is like $30. They charge you $230 for labor.
