We've all seen the endless shot montages to music until our brain just can't take it anymore. I figured I would start a thread devoted to actual finished productions that used the GH1 or 7D. I'll start with a few, please add some!

I don't know if I would call those 7d videos finished productions. They're good doc pieces but all shot with available light, not much in the way of control.

Especially compared to the controlled settings of that commercial and the first music video shot on the GH-1. If anything the stillmotion wedding on the 7d's is a better representation of the 7d in a production environment.
 
can you post this in the 7d footage in the 7d thread...is anyone else tired of seeing "comparisons" between cameras? furthermore, when i hear "production" i think "actors, music videos, dialogue, commercials"...not someone with a camera using slow mo and dof in every other shot.

Not sure the Erase and Rewind video counts. You may want to dig up Glenn P's broadcast b-roll for the GH1, and someone (it may have been him also) used the GH1 for several shots for a broadcast hospital commercial.
 
I would like to see actual narratives and short films with actors. Not much of that going around, but post what you can find.

My post is an actual narrative short with actors.

You can find narrative shorts with actors in the 7D forum as well.

One nit - how would he have heard the phone vibrating on the floor while wearing headphones listening to music?

i was thinking the same thing....

and...there's some tough shadows throughout. nice to know that the gh1 can still be clean with available city lights though....nice!

Actually there was a bit more detail in the shadows etc but I crunched on them a bit in post....it got a little darker on vimeo though...

Hmmm...I hear my phone vibrating all the time from far away even with headphones on? Am I the only one? Maybe I just have 6th phone sense...
