Finding T2i firmware 1.0.7 & 1.0.8

Hello everybody,
Want to update my current firmware 1.0.6 (I know its a shame:undecided) but the only link for upgrade I seem to find is 1.0.9 and if I'm not mistaking, I can't move from 1.0.6 to 1.0.9 without going through 7 & 8.

Will greatly appreciate and link to download t2i firmware 1.0.8 & 1.0.7.

Firmware refers to the complete contents of your device's memory. I think the OP is confusing it with a "patch".
A patch is an update that fixes a minor thing by only updating that part of memory.

A firmware update wipes out whatever was there previously and replaces ALL OF IT with a completely new set of information. It makes absolutely no difference what version was on it before because it will be completely obliterated when you flash the next one.

Think of it this way:
If you have a Windows Vista computer, you can download and install a security patch to fix some browser exploit. But you can't install the same patch to, say, Windows XP or Windows 7, because the code it is editing only exists on the platform the update was designed for. This is an example of a software patch, and if there are multiples patches available, it is usually wise to install in order.
A firmware update, however, is like formatting your hard drive that used to have XP and installing 7 on the blank drive. You don't have to install Vista to install windows 7 (thank g0d for that!).

This analogy is true of most solid-state based things. To my knowledge, these types of devices never get "patches" anyway.
