This was a video I directed (and shot) back in march that is finally being released. I did this for a very talented folk singer Layah Jane ( http://www.layahjane.com ) and thought I'd share it with you.

Enjoy!

I have only a couple of comments. Since it looks mostly 'handheld', there was only one shot, beach shot, where the horizon line was for me some what whacked (for no 'stylistic' reason that I could intuit). Other wise, pretty good getting the horizon mostly parallel to the frame.

The other item, is it seemed that the 'dream/fantasy' shots were in B&W, until the final sequence of cutting between the coffee shop and 'elsewhere'... I probably would have maintained the B&W throughout.

The other other item, is the vignetting, seemed a bit lopsided on occasion, where the right side of the frame had more than the left.... I'm getting a sort of deja vu feeling... perhaps it was a similar sort of setup...

But anyway... it kept my interest, even without sound, to the end.

Thanks for watching.

Did the song not play when you watched it? Or did you just watch it on mute? Just curious.
