After several videos and trying many different audio sources - Rode NTG-2, Stereo Videomic Pro, Zoom H1, Built in sound from the C100, we went and picked up two AKG Perception 220 microphones and ran them both into the C100.
Wow.
What a difference.

Judge for yourself. Two files included in the zip file - one labeled "Test" is right out of the camera, the other has a touch of reverb and noise removal.
We were shooting in a living room in one of the big mansions in Charleston.
