Finally bought my DVX, but what is the "cine" mode

Whats the difference between the "cine" mode and the "25p" mode?

I just bought my camera today. Its bigger than i thought it would be. Here in HK its called the AG-DVC180A.

In short, 25p and Cine are just presets, that use different gamma settings. The Cine one uses Cine-gamma, hence the name. Learn the settings, learn what each of them does (use your eyes and the book) and you'll be able to change presets to your liking. I, for one, got rid of 3 50i default presets on the first day I got my DVX and replaced them with more 25p options.
