As far as what it's about, I can definitely understand why you can't get the emotion.
The story was definitely overcomplicated and I just didn't really tell it right. The story was about a Guy who had prior emotional unrest that made him less connected with society. He decides to attend a party but is anxious about going and when he gets there he imagines how he thinks the party is going to go (the black and white part). When it returns to color, that is reality and he enters the party hoping for the best.
I'd say this is my least successful project. I did learn some things but I was sloppy and inattentive with sound design and really never came to grips with the story. But it is what it is.
