Final Cut Pro Noob witrh DVX

I just got a G5 and I need help with 24pa footage and FCP. What are you import settings, capture settings, and export settings.

that only says what to do for capture settings... do you also put those same settings in separately for the timeline settings and then again for the export settings??? i always read on this forum that when you film 24pa your suppose to use a 24p timeline and when shooting 24p you use 30

My point was that FCP-related questions really need to go to the FCP forum.
