Final Cut Pro 7 to Apple Motion 4

I am trying to get an idea of what Apple Motion 4 is used for. I know how to create texts in it but I want to take it further... I have a music video I am working on with some simple effects applied to it already. (Vignette, Widescreen, 3 way Color Corrector) When I hit "send to Apple Motion" why doesn't the effects get sent over? When I sent my whole sequence to motion it doesn't read it correctly? Should I send it clip by clip but then my effects don't get transferred either still. I want to add more effects onto of the ones I made in Final Cut Pro 7. Is this even possible?

Thanks,
Brandon

What a bargin, can't think of a better way to spend $25.00 a month

Hehe- yeah I'm assuming that's sarcasm. :) But you wouldn't want to learn how to drive by watching free videos on YouTube would you? And you don't even make any money by knowing how to drive as you could say doing graphics work in Motion. (well unless you're a truck driver of course).
