Filter that actually DOES fix moire and anti-aliasing on the 5DmkII

Great video. Thanks for making the effort.

The bit that stood out the most for me was the aliasing on the trap overhead cables. Huge difference. Fantastic, even.

Sadly I doubt I'd get one at the moment. I was lucky enough to be offered one as I emailed very early on. But the shipping was way too much. RM International could safely send one from the UK to US for about £15. They said their price was 'shockingly high' :(

But the replies alone showed what a top company they are.

Received my mosaic filter today. Will post my tests soon. Symon is correct regarding their replies, they are a top company.

Here's a series of res charts and a bit of outdoor scenarios on nikon mount lenses and the popular tokina 11-16.
What works and what doesn't at what settings.

Despite what early tests and the company saying that the filter is ok up to 20-24mm I decided to push beyond to see if I can salvage my wide lenses.

I guess this filter extends the 5D mk II life longer.

I've been very happy with my purchase as well. Haven't had any moire/aliasing problems lately, and I shoot in uncontrolled environments a lot for journalism.

Wow, this is quite interesting. I've skipped this thread for quite a while, believing it to be about that Final Cut filter released some time ago.

Its being released already reem12, I am using it, and I just leave it inside my 5D all the time.
My latest tests on different patterns from water and fabric shows its effectiveness.

They do have a backlog BUT, if you need it relatively fast I really suggest you shoot an email to them over at Mosaic engineering. -I also think they haven't updated their website advisory in a while.

I guess since the newly announced full frame canon 1D x costs around 7,000 US, getting this 300 plus fix for the 5D's major issues seemed the wise choice to extend the capabilities of our current full frame sensor camera. ;-)

Where can I purchase this filter? What's the address, and the final cost of this item? I gotta have one!!! Can anyone point me in the direction to be a good consumer? Thanks!!!!!
