A friend just purchased an HV20 and a Brevis35. Apparently the Cinevate kit now includes a part intended to invert the entire rig (camera, rails, Brevis).
FWIW, I'd want to base this sort of rig on "proper" cine rails: that way you'd have the option to buy or rent accessories such as matte boxes, follow focus gear or extreme telephoto lenses designed for standard 15mm or 19mm rails.
Our carbon rails are standard 15mm, and you can flip the HV20 with the existing setup with the addition of one 6 inch 5/8" riser tube. They were designed with that in mind. Any existing 15mm accessories will work with it our front. I'll post a few pics.
that sounds great only i am on a tight make that VERY tight budget.. movie making is just hobby, i'm not a film student or anything so i need the cheapest option and i thought this would be cheap and effective, and wanted to know how it was done.
