Before DSLR's became viable as shooters this site and others were obsessed with trying to achieve the 'Film Look' particularly with DOF adapters and post editing. Recently the adapters have become pretty much obsolete for most people but the discussion of 'film look' has also largely disappeared. I know the discussion of flat profiles to grade is out there but are there other methods that people are using.
This technique is very interesting and am wondering how I can do this in FCP but I'm sure there are other factors to push the film look with DSLR's and not just in post.
