Files corrupted after hooking up SD?

I shot a couple of tests with the GH13, but first pulled the SD card out of the camera and shoved it up an SD reader and into my computer. To my surprise my computer would not see the .mts files, so I pulled it out (Don't worry, I did it the correct way.), then put it in my camera.

I hooked it up with my comp and started Adobe Premiere, but then the files seemed to be "wrongly compressed" or something similar, and my camera said "This motion image could not be played." And help on this?

hahaa... pulled it out, shoved it... man go easy on that SD card

1. id format the SD card in camera.
2. after stopping a shot being recorded be sure to let it write to the card before switching the camera off.
3. always power off before you "yank" the card out.

id format the card and start a fresh.

Also a good idea to flip the Write Protect thingee before putting in the SD card reader. Usb connections can also be lost on your computer. Last week, I had a warning that the SD card was unreadable and to initialize the card!! I thought I lost everything, but a shutdown and restart and the card mounted OK!!
