FH Mode GOP rates for 50/60fps

To see the ghosted 4th frame I have to scrub frame by frame. When played at normal speed I can't see it. It certainly is smooth and no flashing of any kind, but technically not perfect with my current settings.

Other than that, I like your idea of shooting 1 framerate to rule them all. Not a horrible multi-purpose compromise to make in most situations.
 
I dont get any flashing ,pseudo frames ,etc, what are the rest of your settings?
what editor are you using and platform ....I have CS5....on windows platform as well as final cut pro 7 on mac ....works on both...

Gee glad i'm not alone in liking the 720p and calling it the sweet-spot of the camera just like 720p is on the HMC 152. It's just so nice and clean.

Cool that you like it too Larry, 1080 always looks noisy to me on HMC 152 and GH1.

Also got the lpowell ..(Ahem) .. GOP 3 setting working by ditching all the extra settings on bottom ...just the basic bitrates and GOP3 and of course the 720-30p vs 60 ...seems quite nice and also no flashing on scrubbing... Good stuff ..

Maybe its an OK camera for consumers at 1080 but not on bigger screen unless you are incredibly careful and selective of your shots...it is an acceptable B but I could not run it as A at 1080 its too "flakey" but for 720 I think its great and a good money maker..all day long..

But why would you anyway it was not designed for that ...Af100 is where I will be for that with nanoflash jr et al.

Yep, my HMC is in the cupboard and only comes out when i need more control or auto focus while zooming.
