Excellent. The GH1 begins its pro journey. I know what it can do 'cause I got mine and witness its great quality already. Good luck with all your work.

wow..this is the best and most artistic looking clips i have seen from the gh1, make me feel good that i have one...wow...did you use nd filters? polarizing filters? and as johnny asked what frame rate did you shoot at(day and night) and did you slow it down at all, or was it normal speed? great work!

That is some really great looking stuff! Nice indeed. I wouldn't have thought it was from a DSLR... The time has come for such a revolution and with all the hoopla going on about this cam and the Canon and the Red... it's all for the benefit of the filmmaker. I just don't think it's going to make people shell out 30K for cameras anymore. Sure some might, but they do it to be special..

And the amazing thing is that competition among the manufacturers will result in better and better cameras as is the fact in these situations. The next couple of years are going to be pretty exciting for all of us.

Thanks for your comments.

Excuse my poor english I'm French

720p50 for everything except the children 1080p25. I really prefer 720p.

the band with fire: ISO200 => ISO800, shutter speed 100 => 200. some shots speed up x2, some shots in slow motion 50%
singer with the sun: ISO100, shutter speed 50 or 100, ND filter 4 or 8

Smooth mode:
-1
0
-1
-2

Shooting with DSLR is amazing. This is just the beginning.

thanks for the info! what did you use to grade it (amazing colors, i love that grading of the man in the sunshine and the young kid with the red shirt)? did you output it to 24 or 25p?
thanks
