i am very new to pro world , and have no experience with Canon lenses at all, As i invest now in L lenses, i decided to ask your advice about few things:
1. Protective filters! as L lenses are blody expensive - i think its worth to concider getting a filter to protect. probably its much safer to clean filter instead of expansive glass. what would u suggest? as i understand some use UV filters and also seen Digital Ultra Clear Filter, what would u suggest? and what brand? I had a very small experiance with Hoya uv skylight(18) and it really looks like it adds a little dark.... dont want something to eat my f stops...
2. I have heard there are some kind of Macro rings that can convert any lens to macro... i did not find it at canon. has any one used them? how good it is? and maybe some brands suggestion? does it eat any f stops?
3. Extenders ..... i see canon makes some as well... does it add any problems? f stops eating or else? Any other brands u could suggest? is it worth consideration at all?
