I'm just checking the waters seeing how much people would be paying for

Panasonic HMC150
Very good condition, I've babied it, always kept a UV filter on
with both stock battery and extended long life battery.

Now the Fun part.... something must be screwed up, because the Operation Time says:
12432_1185856886694_1236420567_30690212_1815253_n.jpg

But I can assure you thats all thats messed up... its very strange, I never checked the operation time until just now!

and it all comes in a 1520 Pelican Case, very good condition, not thrown around at all

Give me a resonable offer

Are you the original owner? If so, could you show a receipt with a purchase date? That should clear up any questions about the hour count...at least a little.
If you are not the original owner, I've got to assume the counter is correct. In which case I'll offer you $2000 to start you off.

I'm the original Owner, bought the camera off Amazon, December 31st,2008,

and to think about it, the counter has to be off, the camera was originally released October 2nd 2008, and the counter claims it has 13,156 hours on it... thats 548 days... so how could I use a cam, 24 hours a day before it was released

It is obvious that the counter is wrong.

What would your good faith estimate be for number of days and hours you used the cam?

I'd have to say, In all honesty, I have probably 30-40 hours on it... most of that sitting on a tripod for weddings, I've gone offroading with it, shot a few behind the scenes for films.

But also remember this camera has no moving parts, so more hours doesn't constitute breakdown

In another dimension!

Ha, thats how I felt, when I turned it on and it said that... I was like ok... this can't be right... But i never thought about it, so this morning i woke up and did the math....

548 days 24hours a day... Thats one HELL of a timelapse (First Thought FTW)

Yea i thought maybe, there was a chance you weren't the original owner and the OG owner had used it for some sort of wild time lapse of a building being made, or something. But then after I made the post i realized that was pretty unlikely, if not impossible.

so 30-40 hours ... ill offer $2500 to get this going. (I'm not just bidding to get others to, i would actually buy it.)

Looking at other offers on other threads, and with the Pelican case, I was thinking larger price, around 3,000

There is one for sale in another thread for $2,650.

Can you update the firmware to see if that corrects the hour readout?

Did you register it on the Panasonic website?
