Feature Film Teaser "An Immortal Tale"

Looks cool man.

Great you are from Baltimore too, as am I.
Let me know if you ever have any crew you need for filming, etc.

Keep up the good work!

(What equipment do you use?)

That's good to hear. I felt it was improved over the teaser test, but it's those non-biased opinions from those who don't know you I listen to. And that's if they're constructive LOL. There's some hvx in there with the redrock. Other equipment stems from a ton of lights from the grip truck including Kinos and HMI's. You'll come to find out the HVX with the redrock is a light hog. You'll want to have plenty of light. Otherwise you may begin to notice a darker grain and-or unwanted vignette in your frame.

Zzx4k - we've filled crew for the most part with a new film to start this spring. Send a private message for more. I would assume you're local?

Looks really great! Did you shoot in 720 or 1080?

What is going on with the film now? Shopping it around? Festivals?

Parts were filmed in 720 and others in 1080. The film will have a private premiere in Maryland in april and is currently being shopped around at festivals...from what I hear anyway. They want to give it about a year before selling it.

Yeah, and used the red rock but that adapter requires so much light!

Keep an eye out for the latest news at www.wickedfilmstudios.com it's about to be updated and another site will post soon as well: www.animmortaltalethemovie.com

Johnny,

My understanding is that the redrock adapter is one of the best ones out there as far as loosing light goes. Don't scare me man...
I'm about to buy an M3e and I'm really excited about it! :)

Yeah, the red rock has its advantages but it does require more light than your typical adapter. We're going to use the RED camera on another feature at 4k and it lets so much more in. Either way, mind what you buy. With technology changing so much, you don't want to end up with a pile of "old" stuff. Don't know your situation, but renting can be a good thing.

what are you currently doing with your film now that it's complete?

This just had a private screening for cast and crew. At this point, it's find a publisict or marketing expert. Had good reception at the small event, but we'll see. Hopefully it gets into some good festivals and with has some nice reviews.

So really...looking for some reviews from local press and/or film critics to get some buzz.

I've seen some of your other posts so I 'm not sure what phase you are in your project, but I will advise this. Have money for post, especially for Marketing and/or publisict. Can be crucial.
