Feature Film Teaser "An Immortal Tale"

Thanks PaPa. We're very excited about it. Know the teaser doesn't reveal much, but the full trailer will show a lot more. We'll see what happens!
 
were those soft edges on the gun c/u done in post? lensbabies? or vaseline? nice website btw

The first few shots are awesome, the rest seem like every other super low budget hitman movie. I'd like to see the actors talk, rather than have voice over the entire trailer. It's hard to understand what's what, but I guess it's a teaser so whatever.

I also think that guy holds his pistol funny.

Yeah, that's been brought up about the voice over and not seeing the actors talking. It's just that way because it's a teaser. The trailer won't post that way. Interesting in the comments around the first few shots. This teaser was a "test" so color correction and flow were different throughout. You didn't point out exact differences, but higlighting those comments makes a very interesting catch on our part. Appreciate the direct feedback.
 
And that catch would be color correction correct? This is supposed to have a darker tone in some spots I thought. But that's just me. I know what you're gonna say. It's a test. Just a test. Lol
 
Hey charlieThanks for the note. Much of this teaser was just a test. Wanted to see if folks can give direct feedback aside from opinions of "I like it" or "this is the worst piece of garbage I've ever seen".That's why it's related as "things" cause the vision is to have a dark tone, and those "things" are slightly different throughout to make it appear that way. Once it's final, I'll share a little more detail.Do appreciate all the feedback.

i agree with this as well.

the only things that stood out to me were the stick fight between the two actors looked rehearsed from what i could tell, didn't look like they were really trying to hurt one another.

as is when the guy busts in the room and tries to grab the girl as she runs, looked kinda funny to me too, not laugh out loud funny but looked kinda fake.

better music would help the teaser a lot though IMO. fely like some garageband stuff.

not sure what kinda direct feedback you're looking for, as there wasn't much to go on. it's just random shots put together as most teasers are. i really dont care too much about the color grading and what it was edited on. all i look at is the finished product.
 
Thanks Mickey,Helpful points indeed. Color grading is nearing final. A new post trailer should be up soon revealing it. Not much different, but targets the darker version from the director. Was edited using final cut, but like you mentioned...it's just a teaser difficult to go off much. Thanks again
