Feature Film - T2i

We put together and recently shot an entire feature using nothing but several Canon T2i's. I would like some feedback on the site, movie description, etc. I just put up the site yesterday so its by no means complete. I'd love some suggestions before I get too far in. Thanks.

Since you wrote the script, and are making the film, you probably should put up the script, since there's no worry about someone beating you 'to it'...

But this theme has been done before... there's the classic Kubrick, "Lolita"(1962), and a couple of remakes. There's "Hard Candy"(2005) more recently. In the case of "Lolita" the narrative is in the form of 'unreliable narrator'. That means the activities of the characters are reported by an individual who may have ulterior motives to obfuscate The Truth.

In the case of "Hard Candy", the young woman extracts a confession of guilt regarding a murder, from her older male victim, and uses 'underage sex' as the 'candy'.

Actually you are kinda off a little on the plot. It's nothing like those movies at all. I have no narrator and there are no confessions. It's hard to explain without giving away the entire plot and ending, but I can guarantee that if you think its like those movies you'll be blown away all during the movie and at the end.

Just reading the above comments maybe you should mention if the trailer or site is NSFW before I try the link again.

NSFW means Not Safe For Work; the idea being that if you shouldn't watch something at work, because of language, imagery, etc., label it as such, that way people know whether they should wait until they get home to view said material, or if they can view it "at work."

Exactly, and if it's a movie about sex at all and has images or words which are explicit then you should make people aware of that before you post a link to it. If the film is about sex with minors count me out, I'm sure that many other people will feel the same way.

The site seems very functional, if not a bit too basic in the design IMHO. I have no idea what the film is about from looking at the site, a synopsis or log line would help out a bit with that. Also the style of the site seems a bit strange and not knowing if it was a choice due to the nature of the movie because I couldn't figure out what the story was about makes it hard for me to give feedback. Good luck with the project, I hope that any of this helps.

I hate to be the guy to bring this up, but people will take you a lot more seriously if you stop using Papyrus as your font for everything. It's a major design no-no these days.
