Fear

Dissapointing ending...Great idea though with the baby in the trunk...How did you get these nices colors. Nice contrast

It was a good short, but I think it should be extended to about 3-4 more minutes, and have the guy not be a whimp and kill that creep

that was really good man... liked it allot... shot beautifully, sound design was amazing!

good work, really good.

Very Decent!

I would suggest:

Editing opening scene (smoother... have her look at the car but keep running... more natural... when she passes have her come back when she hears baby crying)

Fix the additional dialog recording when the salesman says he's coming.

The death scene... it takes much more to suffocate a person. They struggle much more as they panic. Timing is O.K. but needs more struggle. (No I haven't suffocated someone per se... )

Well I can't re-shoot the beginning. The actress is in another country. :)

As for the death scene.... she was chained up pretty well. ;)

Really, thanks for watching! I'll take these tips to heart for me next film.
I need to make things as clear as possible.

I agree with the ones that say the story is perfect. For a film like this, what's the point of having a "hollywood" ending? What would it be saying if the guy stepped up and saved her? The way it is now, it's a play on exactly what the title hints at, "fear".

We all have fear within us, and despite how macho we might act "I would run up to the guy, kick him in the balls and gouge his eyes out", we can never say how we'd actually react when confronted in a situation like that, because all (or at least most of us) have never been in that situation. Our hearts are pounding, bodies sweating, our fear may be overshadowing rational thinking, and that's what the movie is about.

It's showing how despite everything, despite rational thinking, fear may overcome our desire to do good in a situation that requires it.

I like the film. Did you fix it up from the version I last saw? Seems to flow nicely. Still have issues with the girl struggling, but you know my issues. :) I still think you need footsteps from the main character while in the house, and you need muffled footsteps from the protagonist from the floor above. It would help that scene so much more.

Anyways, good job man!

Thanks, Jon. As for the footsteps... the salesman was really trying to be quiet. There is a creak here and there.

As for the killer... the music was quite loud. When it stops you can clearly hear his footsteps as he comes down to the top of the stairs. I thought that would add more tension. Just hearing the music, then it stops, then we hear the killer for the first time.

I'm at least hoping that you heard that part. :)

I agree though, a little more noise around the house would have helped.

Thanks for watching again!
