I see a lot of this adapter on ebay. Since these adapters doesn't have optics, am I correct that I can just buy the cheapest one but with best features such as focus infinity support?

He's currently sold out. It seems to take him a month or so to make a new batch and put them on ebay.

yeah, I've heard his name mentioned many times in vimeo.com. I've seen his product. It was one of my choices.

I got my adapter from Ciecio7 2 days ago and it looks to be very well made. Now if my GH2 would just ever get here!!!

He's sold out right now. Just send him a message on e-bay asking him to notify you when he has more in stock, and he will.

t-hill, do you have a sample video using this adapter and a Canon FD lens?

Nothing to post, yet. Since I received the adapter, I've only had a chance to make sure that it worked. I'll post on here when I get a chance to do a decent test shoot with it.

I bought an OM lens adapter from that seller..."cam2_usa" (same cheap price), and it works just as well as the more expensive RJ Camera OM adapter I bought a long time ago. I bought a $15 OM adapter from seller Kawaphoto/Kawamall, and it sucked. Infinity focus was different on every OM lens I own, and it was pretty poorly machined. So, as simple as an adapter might seem, they are not all created equal.

The best thing is, all this exact same cheap Chinese eBay photo/video garbage which you used to have to wait weeks/months to get shipped here, can now be got from US sellers for nearly the same price. :D

I also bought this adapter for a Minolta 35-70mm f2.5-3.5:

It's from RJ Camera, sold by Rainbow Imaging, and very solidly built. Maybe $25-30 is the sweet spot for adapters that are cheap but work.

I'm not even sure price is a good indicator of quality at all with the Chinese adapters.

I've bought several adapters in my time, and none were as good as Ciecio7's. He makes them on a CNC machine in Poland, from a solid piece of Duraluminium and hard anodises them, so they are dead tight, made to very fine tolerances, and amazingly cheap for what you get.
