Just received an old "chrome nose" canon FD 50mm f1.4 for my GH2, and it looks really nice.
Couple of issues though:
1. the focus ring is smooth enough, but appears to be a little loose somehow as it slips a few cm in one direction if I turn it too quickly or reach the end of the turn. will try to upload a video to show soon. the lens is definitely usable, but I think this will become extremely annoying for video work, and might only worsen with time...? Are there any easy fixes for this?
2. there are some white/chrome spots inside the lens, similar to this (image found on google) What the heck is it? fungus?
3. I was under the impression from the canon fd wikipedia-page that the earliest breech-lock fd's all used s.c. - and the fastest (like the 50mm 1.4) used s.s.c. - even though it is not specified on the lens itself. Judging by this, my lens is from (oktober) 1971. some information on mir.com says that it's just s.c. coating, but I can't find that pdf to confirm. lay your knowledge on me folks.
lens was $100 incl. shipping. Should I go for a refund and look for another lens? any advice is greatly appreciated!

EDIT: just realized the GH subforum might not be the best forum for this.. should I repost/delete, what?
