GH2 FD adapters

you lens is fine. make sure when you get the adapter that you line up the single dot on the adapter with the dot on the lens. then turn the lens towards the 2 dots on the adpter and it will drop into the adapter, then turn clockwise until the silver button (lock) on the back of the lens clicks up

Thanks!

Does it really take a whole month for that adapter to arrive? If not, is the Rainbow Imaging model that much worse?

Thanks for posting this. Got my Ceico7 FD to MFT adapter yesterday and tried out the lense this morning. The adapter is rock solid and my initial impressions of the Canon FD 50mm 1.4 seem in line with just about everyone else - love it.

PS -- Anyone else getting this combo - you do need to watch the video very closely - the trick is to first line up the single dot and hold the adapter against the lense, then rotate to the double-dot (which engages that pull switch on the lense) at which point the adapter slides down snugly, and then continue rotating until the lens locks on.

My Ceico7 FD shipped yesterday.. so it will be a wait. I already have one of those cheap ebay ones and its sloppy and lose.

Just yesterday I got my M42 adapter, from rainbowimaging, its a very simple piece of equipment, and Im quite happy with it.

I don't know where you live, but considering the adapter came from Poland, mine arrived in Los Angeles 7 days after it was shipped, which I think is pretty quick for paying only $6.50 shipping....

7 days is an eternity, or rather, it used to be, but Panasonic took upon them selves to teach me patients by "allowing" me to experience a 2 month back order! :)
