FCP wont import MXF files! HELP!

Recorded 1080i60 with FS100 set (by mistake) in P2 mode instead of Quicktime ON, Final Cut 5.1.4 doesnt import MXF files it shows a sign that says "invalid structure file" or so..and it wont allow it.
The funny thing is that I can watch the clips through the camera..
Please help...I cant seem to find a way to import these clips---Do I need avid?

Did you "organize p2" in the FS?

You need to read it.

You need to run the "Organize P2" function. Then FCP can import the clips.
